The AI landscape is complex and changing every day. We know. Here is a guide to every term you'll come across on this site.

101 terms in 5 sections

A

A2A – AUM

A2A Agent2Agent AI

An open standard, started by Google, for two agents from different companies to find each other and pass work back and forth. PCHP adds the part A2A leaves out: what each agent is allowed to be told.

See also MCP, Agent card, The Handoff, How PCHP fits with A2A

Agent card AI

A short public description of what an agent can do and how to reach it. In A2A it lists an agent's skills. On hussh it is also your agent's address, shown as a code others can scan.

See also A2A, Ping

Agent One Product Live, free

Our assistant for the life admin you'd rather hand off: bills, receipts, forms, appointments. It works for you, only sees the accounts you connect, and is free for every American. Sign in with Google to start.

See also AI agent, Delegate, BYOS, Puppy One, Agent One

Agentic AI

Describes AI that acts, not just answers: it plans steps, uses tools and finishes a task. "Agentic AI" just means AI agents.

See also AI agent, MCP

AI agent AI

Software that carries out a task for you in several steps, not just answers a question.

e.g.Finding a receipt in your email and filing it with your car records.

See also Agent One, LLM, Delegate

See also Compute ladder, Edge computing, The AI Factory

See also UCP, A2A, One Card, How PCHP fits with AP2

See also BYOA, MCP, For developers

Attestation Consent

Proof, attached to a request or receipt, that something really happened. In PCHP it shows you approved with your passkey or fingerprint, not just that someone clicked a button.

See also Consent receipt, Passkey, The spec

See also RIA, For advisers

See also Edge computing, BYOS, Personal supercomputing, Burst

Agent One can use your own AI account keys, so the work runs on your account and your quota, not ours. Some partner pages use BYOA to mean "bring your own agent".

See also API, BYOS, BYOL

BYOC bring your own computer Product

Agent One is built to run on machines you already own: your Mac, your phone, or a Puppy One. We're still building this. On partner pages, BYOC means "bring your own cloud": using cloud spend a company has already committed.

Running Agent One on the AI models and keys a business already pays for. Used on our partner pages.

See also LLM, BYOA, For partners

See also BYOA, BYOC, Burst, Bring your own

See also MCP server, Consent receipt, Enterprise CRM

See also Attestation

PCHP Personal Consent Handshake Protocol Consent Public draft

Our open standard for sharing personal data only with your say-so. Whoever wants your data says what and why. You approve or decline. If you approve, they get a key that expires and can be revoked, and you get a receipt.

See also Consent receipt, Scope, Handshake, Revoke, How consent works, The spec

See also Agent One, Puppy One Max, Personal supercomputing, On-device AI, Puppy One, Shop

See also Fiduciary, CRD, AUM, KYC, For advisers

S

Scope – spaceID

Scope Consent

The smallest named piece of your data someone can ask for, such as a clothing size or a privacy preference. Consent is given per scope, so a yes to one never covers another. Sensitive scopes are never bundled with ordinary ones.

See also PCHP, PCHP subscriptions, Consent receipt, The scope registry
